NaPoWriMo 5

April 6, 2012

link to NaPoWriMoGod, this is tough.  Especially after spending time with friends where the beer and wine had flowed freely.  I’ve just walked back from my friends and I’m drunk. I must have added another half mile to the journey due to legs that haven’t obeyed my wishes.  But that’s the beauty of being drunk.  So, without wishing to make life more difficult than hitting the right keys (and you wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve hit the wrong one) here is a simple view.

Drunken wisdom

you know
we all suffer
from age

when we are young
we’re not old enough

and when we are older
we can spend time
the past

we are the age
we are
and need to enjoy
the time
we occupy
