NaPoWriMo April 20 Haiku catchup (11 of 12)

April 23, 2013

Despite my view of other people’s drinking parties I managed to drink myself, staggering up to bed several hours and drinks later than I anticipated.  So Sunday morning was met with a slight sense of regret.  Not about drinking of course, but that the night had passed so quickly.  I find that as one of natures night owls I don’t need the added disincentive of a hangover to keep me in bed.  But as I’ve aged hangovers seem to get worse so there isn’t the  great incentive to drink as much as I did 20 years ago.  With these thoughts in my blurry mind I came up with this penultimate Haiku

Haiku 11 – Sunday 9.00am
