NaPoWriMo April 21 Haiku catchup (12 of 12)

April 23, 2013

napo2013buttonSo onto Sunday.  I do go to church although I would describe myself as a spiritual humanist or possibly Unitarian more than Christian.  However, I love the energy, dynamism and commitment the people in the church have and I like to be part of it.  I think anyone’s path of faith is an intriguing and usually complex story, so I’ll spare people mine.  But watching everyone pray and indeed praying myself led to this my final Haiku.

Haiku 11 – Sunday 11.00am

Sunday. Praise to God

Our whispered prayers touch your ears

and hope is restored.

I have enjoyed catching up.  But of course the observant amongst  you will notice that I’ve caught up to the 21st April and tomorrow will be the 24th so I still haven’t caught up.  I’ll complete my catch up tomorrow with three different poems.  I hope you have enjoyed the Haiku catch ups and thanks for your likes and follows.
